Like all sailors, I learnt very quickly not to volunteer for anything in the Navy. I must however be coming senile as I put my hand up to Tony Daniel to put this book together for the Quiberon reunion. The book, together with the photos, can only be as good as that which I had of my short stay on Quiberon, together with those from crew members who responded to Tony's request for information for the book.

The compilation we have here is only a drop in the ocean (pardon the pun) of the crews of Quiberon and advents of what transpired as her time as an anti-submarine frigate. She was my first ship as she was to most of the crew members who served in her, some coming direct from recruit school. I guess that's why she will always be remembered fondly by those who were privileged enough to have had the honour of serving in FO3, HMAS QUIBERON.
