HIGH COUNTRY: Omeo and the Oriental Claims.
This drive starts at Ensay South and for full enjoyment should
include a night stop-over in Omeo.
Goldrush
heritage, splendid old buildings, more numerous bushwalks and
eazy car access to the claims, this 243ha area is well worth
the drive. Sealed, all weather road, magnificent views.
An alternative return is via the Dargo High Plains; Turn-off
10k past Hotham Heights. (unsealed
from turn-off to Dargo).
GIPPSLAND
LAKES: Gippsland Lakes, Rivers & the 90 Mile Beach. 
Gippsland Lakes - largest inland watersystem in the Southern
Hemisphere. This unique drive takes you via Bairnsdale to Bruthen
and along the Tambo Valley to Swan Reach. to the lakeside village
of Metung, then to the historic Nyerimilang Park and homestead,
an ideal picnic point, and on to Lakes Entrance. Return via
the Princes Highway.
SILT JETTIES: Mitchell River Silt
Jetties & Raymond Island. (koalas)
Drive from Bairnsdale to Paynesville via Eagle Point and visit
the famous Silt Jetties. Cross the strait by ferry at Paynesville
to Raymond Island and see how many koalas you can find?
BUCHAN - ORBOST: Buchan, the Buchan
Caves & Orbost. 
Whether visiting the caves themselves or just for the drive.
This tour is well worth it, all sealed road, windy at times.
Commencing at Bairnsdale, takes you via Bruthen to Buchan then
to the timber town of Orbost and return via Lakes Entrance on
the Princes Highway.
SNOWY RIVER: Raymond Creek Falls
& the Snowy River.
This tour continues from the Orbost tour. Visit Orbost's Slab
Hut & the Visitor's Information Centre. The Raymond Creek
Falls are well worth the forest drive. (During wet season, only
suitable for 4WD)
MARLO-CAPE CONRAN: Marlo, Cabbage Tree
& Cape Conran.
This tour is also out of Orbost. A very interesting drive, magnificent
fishing, great views over the Snowy River's coastal waterways.
The round trip via Cabbage Tree includes unsealed roads.
